Thanks to RRA, Cheltenham’s Georgian town of Pittville has seen restoration and completion of the old cast iron gates, stone columns and overthrow lantern. Working with AMPM 247 Construction, Cheltenham Borough Council and Friends of Pittville, the end result is a great coming together and restoration of an old part of town. The casting of the gates is truly inspiring, watching an old skill brought back to life and thankfully one which has not been lost in the mists of time. New gates are the result, which are a replica of the originals.
