Herefordshire Council is inviting landowners, agents or developers who wish to promote land for residential development to get in touch.
The council has a Call For Sites out at the moment, with the consultation closing on 14th September. This is to assist in preparing a Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA) to identify and assess land that has the potential to deliver housing.
If you own a reasonable parcel of land (at least 0.25 hectares or 2500 square metres) which is within, or close to, an existing settlement the council would like to hear from you.
Registering your interest does not mean the site would get built on immediately, but if you may be considering developing the plot of land at some time in the future, it is worth filling in the short form now. Failing to do so could be detrimental to your chances of achieving Planning Permission in the future.
The process involves filling out a form and returning it to Herefordshire Council before 14th September. If you need any help with the form RRA would be very happy to assist you free of charge and answer any questions you may have.
