Cheltenham’s Pittville Gates, constructed in 1836, are now being restored thanks to RRA’s efforts assisting The Friends of Pittville and Cheltenham Borough Council. Following The Queen’s grant of royal approval (see letter here) to allow the re dedication of the gates in Her Majesty’s name. Over the next three months the new stone piers are being reinstated, the gates being restored and the whole area re-landscaped over two phases.
