Congratulations to our winner, Lucy Rathbone

Thank you to everyone who posted or emailed images for our Throw & Grow competition, we loved seeing all the great shots of bees and butterflies. Even after some considerable deliberation we still had a not very short, shortlist. But in the end we agreed on one image.

The competition wasn’t just about great shots of flowers, but to help raise awareness of the importance of pollinators, such as bees and butterflies to our ecosystem. and this entry showed real commitment to helping the garden wildlife. So, Lucy Rathbone’s Facebook entry, is our winning entry and we love the architectural aspect of the three insect houses in Lucy’s garden.

We were delighted to arrange a delivery from local florist, Flowercraft of Newent, who created this beautiful bouquet for Lucy in her chosen colours of pinks and purples.
