The design was about striping back the years of remodeling that did not sit well with the original structure, to reveal the core shell of the building. This was then refurbished with a brand identity redeveloped for Bill’s all the way down to the furniture designed and specified under a full fit-out contract, with suitable existing items reused following re-finishing.
The bar servery was developed in full consultation with the bar top supplier, delivering for the client a fit for purpose that was tailor made for Bill’s product and service requirements. Through a simple palette of materials and colour the end result is a clean crisp look to the restaurant, which transferred the same feeling and emotion through to the food on offer.
Through careful management of the onsite process cost, economy was carried forward into the final build demonstrating that good design can be achieved on a low budget.
