RRA Customers Receive Planning Permission For Holiday Homes
“We commissioned RRA to work on our project and design for us a scheme which would be sympathetic to the local Heritage. Alex Whibley and Alex Jones were exceptionally professional in their approach, efficient and responsive to the complexities of the planning rules and we were delighted with the scheme they designed. After much negotiation with RRA support we were successfully awarded planning consent,
Thank you Alex and Alex and RRA”
Stephanie and Jarrod Clay
After a long process we are very pleased to announce our scheme of holiday homes. We have received planning approval four our holiday home schemes in Beechcroft in Withington Marsh, Herefordshire.
Our clients, Mr and Mrs Clay, were keen to establish a unique holiday complex with 3 high-end, holiday homes. The scheme would involve renovating their disused barn alongside developing a new building.
The existing barn is to be sympathetically restored, retainaining many of its classic features and fashioned into a one-bed unit. The barn will also housing a communal games room and social area.
The proposed new build will take a simple mass and form of a traditional Herefordshire barn with stone plinth and timber clad elevations under a pitched slate roof. Whilst the form and materials reflect the traditional, they will be employed in a carefully detailed manner to create a contemporary meets traditional design.
The layout splits the new building into two units. One of which benefiting from a balcony to the West to enjoy the stunning sunsets.
Each unit will be finished to a very high standard with timber slat screening. This will allow residents to maintain privacy from the neighbouring property.
It has been a pleasure working with Mr & Mrs Clay. We are looking forward to progressing further, bringing their aspirations to fruition.
