Thank you to all our clients, friends and consultants who popped along to say “Hello” to us at the Fresh: Art Fair at Cheltenham Racecourse. We are delighted to report that the event was hugely successful, beating the previous record for sales – great news for all involved.

Fresh: Art Fair show a huge range of art from 45 galleries representing over 500 artists.

We are even more delighted to be able to report that the RRA sponsored newcomers stand, fresh@Fresh, was also very successful for the artists, with all of them making sales and talking to various interested galleries. Thank you to the artists, Angela Dooley, Andy Watts, Jan Tapner and Zoe Ashbrook, for exhibiting their wonderful pieces.
Fresh@Fresh is an opportunity for unrepresented artists to exhibit their work, sell directly to the public and connect with the many galleries also exhibiting at Fresh. From a tiny idea hatched at RRA it was great to see how the Fresh Art Team transformed the concept into reality.

We had a lovely time at the fair meeting new friends and catching up with old ones. As always, the organisers , Anthony and Ellie Wardle with their team, did a great job of putting the fair together and looking after the exhibitors and sponsors as well as all the visitors. We hope all the fabulous works of art that went off with new owners are very happy in their new homes. If you didn’t get a chance to pick up one of our  ‘Living With Art leaflets, we have posted the information as a blog on our website.

Balloon artist, Twistina, created this amazing flower display for the fair. She adding the bee to promote RRA's Throw and Grow competition which supports bees and other pollinators.

This year balloon artist, Twistina, was on hand to entertain with all sorts of fabulous creations, such as this Panda headband.

We would also like to say a huge “THANK YOU” to balloon artist, Twistina for creating the amazing flower display shown at the Fresh Art Fair. And for adding the buzzing bee when we told her about our Throw and Grow competition aimed to help raise awareness of the plight of pollinators. Interestingly, we found out that the balloons used for these creations are entirely natural rubber and fully biodegradable – good to know.

RRA's Managing Director, Mark Powles, was very happy to deliver the Champagne to Mrs Clare Mathews who won our raffle.

Finally, we would like to say congratulations to the winner of the RRA Champagne Raffle, Mrs Clare Mathews, whose daughter entered her in the raffle. It was their first time visiting the event, and Mrs Mathews told us that they really enjoyed seeing all the variety of art. It was lovely to meet them both and we hope they enjoy the bubbles.

We are looking forward to seeing you at next year’s Fresh Art Fair already – in the meantime, please enjoy the photos we have taken below of some of the art exhibited this year.
