Concept Design
We develop design options that respond to your priorities, the site and the planning context. We use clear drawings and, where helpful, 3D views to test layout, massing and character. We check buildability with engineers and consider costs so the concept is exciting but deliverable.
Coordination & Planning
We develop the preferred design, coordinating structure and building services, and the neccessary consents. We manage discussions with the local authority and respond to feedback, ensuring your submission is clear, robust and well considered. Where needed we work with specialist Planning Consultants.
Technical Design & Tender
We produce coordinated construction information, specifications and schedules that contractors can price from. We focus on performance, durability and build quality, including energy and moisture risk where relevant and conservation detailing where needed. We prepare tender documents and manage the process.
Construction
If you want us to stay involved on site, we can act as Contract Administrator (CA) or we can simply provide Architectural support. As CA we chair site meetings, monitor progress and quality, assess valuations, manage change control and help keep the project moving calmly if surprises appear.
Handover & Aftercare
We oversee completion, snagging, certification and handover, then stay available to help with fine tuning as you settle in.
