As part of our 40 projects for 40 years anniversary series celebrating RRA Architects since 1986, we continue with a project shaped by the dotcom business boom of the 90s.
This is Week 2 of our 40 projects celebrating 40 years of RRA Architects.
Do you remember Evesham Micros?
During the dotcom boom of the late 1990s and early 2000s, few businesses grew as rapidly. Also known as Evesham Technology and later Evesham.com, the company quickly became one of the UK’s leading computer manufacturers, driven by the surge in demand for home computing and internet access.
With that growth came the need for space.

As commercial architects working in Evesham, Worcestershire, RRA Architects was appointed to design a new headquarters that could support the company’s rapid expansion. The building was designed not only to accommodate immediate needs but also to allow for future growth, reflecting both the ambition and pace of the business at the time.
The project gained national recognition, featuring in several publications, including the cover of the Architects’ Journal.
It captures a moment when technology and architecture were evolving side by side, each responding to the speed of change.

As our 40 projects for 40 years series continues, we will be sharing more projects that reflect the people, businesses and ideas that have shaped RRA Architects.
